No, I’m afraid I’m not quite ready to return to this pivotal experience, but that doesn’t mean I can’t cheer on all of the aspiring novelists still in the game, right? I recently learned a neighbor was taking part. How could I forget how exciting it has always been to connect with other participants? Partly, this is because of the rarity of the calling. Do please take a moment to cheer on those you know even considering the feat.
So here’s to anyone tackling the mountain that is NaNoWriMo. I never regretted the time or energy demanded. Just remember that your Inner Editor is not invited!
My little corner of the blogosphere welcomes you back!

Thanks for liking my post about it. What I’ve learned so far is that it’s easier to banish the inner editor when you are writing to such a tight schedule. She can return when the month is up, but I’m finding life without her liberating.

Right? You can always put the editing hat back on in January. It’s possible allowing a turbo gear too fast for editing is the key to the whole challenge. Thanks for the comment and happy writing!
